BROOKE LUPINACCI
FOR SUPERVISOR
Councilwoman Brooke Lupinacci is a champion of the people and for advancing transparent, responsive government in Town Hall. Since taking office, she has fought to protect our suburban quality of life by opposing the current Supervisor’s effort to build thousands of high-density rental apartments in Huntington, which will hike taxes by over $20 million to pay for it. As a former Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, when reports came out about allegations of corruption connected to the current Supervisor’s high-density apartment project, Brooke was the first and only member of the Town Board to call on Law Enforcement to investigate. The current Supervisor has since eliminated Brooke’s entire governmental staff in an illegal act of retribution. Brooke Lupinacci has proven that she isn’t afraid to challenge the status-quo and will risk it all to stand up for the people of Huntington.
EUGENE COOK
FOR COUNCILMAN
Former Councilman Eugene Cook is a man of the people, an “outside the box” thinker, and a critic of the elitist class that governs Town Hall. Eugene has always listened and stood with community members during their time of need. Eugene cast the lone vote against the Seasons at Elwood after thousands of residents signed a petition against the project and has stood with community after community across our Town to protect and defend our suburban quality of life. Eugene believes in protecting open space and remaining woodlands, not only for our families to enjoy now, but for future generations. Eugene Cook has proven time and time again that he loves the Huntington community and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect it.
JOHN POSILLICO
FOR COUNCILMAN
John Posillico is the former Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) for the Town of Huntington and has over thirty years of experience in land use. When you ask residents about John’s time on the ZBA, you will frequently hear the same thing: John is a consummate professional who has displayed impeccable leadership skills and was a kind, caring, and compassionate voice. John cared about residents' concerns and was always looking for a resolution that was in the best interest of the community. John always treated everyone with respect and believed the process of zoning should be governed by the community and with “common sense.” John Posillico is running for the Town Board to bring that same leadership and experience and put the people, not special interests, in charge of Huntington’s future.
